Residents of New Hampshire will now be rewarded for choosing alternative, earth-friendly heat sources, such as WoodMaster’s Flex Fuel wood-pellet furnaces, for their clean burn and high efficiency. The New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission released information on the Residential Bulk-Fed Wood Pellet Central Boilers and Furnace Rebate Program back in April, which continues through February 15, 2012, or when funds run out, whichever comes first.
The program encourages New Hampshire homeowners to purchase alternative heat sources by offering a rebate payment of 30 percent of the system and installation cost, or $6,000, whichever is less. The program covers residential high-efficiency (85 percent or greater), bulk-fed indoor wood-pellet central heating boilers and furnaces that are operational, serving designed intent and installer-certified.
