Ash removal is made easier with WoodMaster's user-friendly design that cleans out with ease, and eliminates hard-to-reach areas that may develop into corrosion or other problems.
In general, you'll want to empty the fine burnt ash bi-monthly, leaving the hot coals in the fire drum. If your WoodMaster is not equipped with an Ash Auger System use a shovel to take ashes from the front of the firebox and use a rake to pull ashes from the rear of the furnace to create a level bed of hot coals.
Hot coals can last for days, disposing of them improperly or too soon can cause a fire.
