A: Site the furnace at least 100 feet from an adjacent residence not served by the furnace.
Major cities are not a good place for wood furnaces, since other pollution strains the air. Yet homes in smaller, rural towns and most suburbs are good candidates for the WoodMaster furnace. Consider the height of the stack, and ensure that it is at least two feet taller than the peak of existing homes within 300 feet for proper exhaust.
